ROLE: JUNIOR DESIGNER

Role Description

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Designer to join our team full time at our Stockholm office. As a Junior Designer, you will assist in the full design and development process working with both the in-house line and client projects. We are looking for a motivated, fast learning individual looking to grow as a designer and make an impact in a growing studio.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake concept, detail and archetype research following creative briefs
• Sewing of prototypes, mockups and samples to develop design concepts
• Create and update technical sketches and tech packs in line with the studios guidelines and standards
• Assist in fittings including maintaining detailed notes as well as updating technical drawings, sample comments and tech packs following
• Assist in sourcing, selecting and approving materials, trims, prints, fabrics, and colors
• Maintain collection overviews, sample range as well as material and trim overviews

Qualifications

• Approximately 2 years of experience in a similar design role
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
• Organised and proactive personality, able to juggle multiple projects at once and work self sufficiently
• Detail orientated with a strong work ethic
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Solid understanding of garment construction, materials, trims and processes
• Fast learner looking to expand their skillset
• Interest or experience in contemporary fashion, industrial design, or related fields
• Education: BA in Fashion Design or similar
• Good sewing skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and adapt to varying project requirements

ROLE: PRODUCT DEVELOPER

Role Description

We are seeking an experienced and organised product developer to join our team full time at our Stockholm office. As a product developer you will oversee the development process working with both the in-house line and client projects. We are looking for a detail orientated, organised team player to help grow our development and production capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversea development and production process of both the Goodspeed product line and select clients in collaboration with the design team
• Work with the design team to manage sourcing of materials, trims and manufacturers
• Prepare Tech Packs and comments for manufacturers
• Overseeing the development and production critical path to meet key deadlines and manage workflows within the studio
• Work with manufacturers to ensure sample and product deadlines are met as well as find creative solutions to technical problems.
  
• Managing development budgets and product costs to ensure accurate pricing and strategic goals

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in high end designer space
• Experience working with multiple categories - shoes and accessories is a bonus
• Super organised and able to manage project timelines
• Driven, structured, and proactive in taking initiatives 
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Excellent understanding of garment construction, materials, trims and processes
• Proven ability to work with global suppliers
• Education in Textiles, Buying, or Product Development
